The buyer would never believe what you say
They will believe what’s written. When you write

4999 and then give a discount of 90% and sell it for 499

The buyers do believe that the product is for 4999 because its written.

Had you said the same thing, they would never agree to it.

When the sales people are out there to sell, they happen to say a lot. Say things that are not a part of the offer, promise something that won’t ever be fulfilled.

And when the buyer doesn’t get it in writing, he never trusts you.

You might be the most honest salesman around, but they wouldn’t know until you show them your honesty.
